Preparing Children for Life
The Children's House (Casa) - for children ages 2 1/2 to 6. The first six years of a child's life are unquestionably the most important for laying a foundation that will last a lifetime. That's because, as Maria Montessori discovered, only young children absorb knowledge from their surroundings just by living. Thus, the PREPARED ENVIRONMENT was developed: an enriching and orderly environment that allows children to explore and discover the world using their various senses and extraordinary powers of the mind.
